Setting up Safe Exam Browser in Moodle

Instructors can enhance exam security by requiring the use of Safe Exam Browser (SEB) for Moodle quizzes. SEB prevents students from accessing unauthorized resources or switching applications during an exam.

Follow the steps demonstrated in the video to configure SEB for your quiz.

Ensure that:

  • The quiz is properly configured before making it available to students.

  • The correct SEB configuration settings or startup link are provided to students in advance.

Additional information

  • Safe Exam Browser is supported on Windows, macOS, and some iOS devices.

  • For questions or issues, contact moodle@colby.edu or support@colby.edu before the quiz begins.
