Managing Zoom Cloud Recordings

Zoom permits meeting and webinar hosts to record their sessions. These recordings may be saved locally to your computer or to the Zoom Cloud. Our cloud storage is shared among all Colby Zoom accounts and is limited. To prevent this cloud storage from filling up and preventing any further recordings ITS offers the following solutions for managing your Zoom Cloud recordings:

Download to your computer:

1. Open a web browser on your computer and go to https://colby.zoom.us/recording
2. Ensure you are on the Cloud Recordings tab in the top center
3. Click on Advanced Search
4. Use the date range picker and search fields to narrow the list of recordings
5. Click on the ... (ellipsis) drop down at the far right of any one recording
6. Choose Download (x files)
7. Depending on your web browser settings these may automatically download to your Downloads folder on your computer or you may be prompted to choose a location to save

Once your video files have been downloaded to your computer, you can upload them to Kaltura or to Google Drive.
