Managing Zoom Cloud recordings

Zoom allows meeting and webinar hosts to record their sessions. These recordings may be saved locally or to the Zoom Cloud. Because Zoom Cloud storage is shared across all Colby accounts and has a limited capacity, managing stored recordings is essential.
Follow the steps below to download recordings from the Zoom Cloud to your computer. Once downloaded, recordings can be uploaded to long-term storage platforms such as
Kaltura or
Google Drive.
Downloading recordings to a computer
- Open a web browser and navigate to
https://colby.zoom.us/recording.
- Ensure the Cloud Recordings tab is selected.
- Click Advanced Search.
- Use the date range picker and search fields to locate specific recordings.
- Click the ... (ellipsis) menu next to a recording.
- Select Download (x files).
- Depending on the browser settings, files may automatically download to the Downloads folder or prompt for a location.
