Enable Live Transcription (Captioning) in Zoom Meetings

Zoom offers the ability for any licensed user to add live transcription to meetings for which they are the host.  To enable this, perform the following steps.

  1. Log in to your Colby Zoom account settings.
  2. Click on Settings > Meeting > In Meeting (Advanced)
  3. Scroll down to Automated captions and ensure that it is turned on.
  4. Launch your Zoom meeting.
  5. Click on the Show captions button in the bottom menu. This may be found by clicking on More.
