Moodle provides you with analytics and reports to monitor how students are engaging with your course materials.
Activity Completion
To enable Activity Completion:
- Turn Edit mode on.
- When adding or editing an activity/resource, expand the Completion conditions section in its Settings. Here you can define conditions for students to be able to mark the task as complete (e.g., "Student must view the activity," "Student must make a submission," etc.)
To view analytics and reports:
- Navigate to your course's Reports from the navigation bar under your course title. You can find a variety of analytics about your course like logs, course participation, etc.
- Click on Activity completion report to track which students have viewed a page, submitted an assignment, or posted to a forum based on the completion conditions you set.
