Please perform the following steps to import a Moodle course into another.
Note: If you need to import a course prior to Fall 2013, please email moodle@colby.edu and make a request.
1. In the new course site, click on More under the course title and choose Course reuse.
2. Click on Import under the Course reuse page.
3. Select the old course site from which you want to import content. Click continue.
4. Select exactly what you want to bring over to your new course. Click Next.
5. Select exactly what you want to bring over to your new course.
- IMPORTANT: Be sure to deselect the Announcements. Your new course site will automatically have this built-in. You don’t want two! Click Next.
6. You now get one last look at what you have selected. Click Perform import and you are all set. Check your new course site to look at what has imported. You can always delete items if you change your mind.
