Fabrication & Virtual Reality

The Colby Mule Works Innovation Lab is a makerspace on the Street in Miller where students from every discipline may come together to explore new interactive technologies, such as virtual reality, 3D printing, and laser cutting, and use these tools to generate innovative forms of scholarship and creative expression.

The Mule Works Innovation Lab currently offers:

  • Virtual reality studio with an HTC Vive Pro VR headset
  • Bambu Labs 3D printers, including multi-material capabilities
  • Full Spectrum Pro laser cutter
  • Singer 4411 Sewing machines
  • Soldering and electronics prototyping tools
  • 3D scanning
  • Sketchfab 3D model hosting

ITS offers materials free for student use.

Hours of Operation: Sunday – Thursday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (During active semesters)
