The WordPress server, web.colby.edu, is designed to support the academic projects, department initiatives, and research endeavors of the Colby community.
Most sites hosted on this platform are classified as Internal Sites and are subject to Colby’s Online Publishing Policy. To ensure our digital footprint remains secure and aligned with the College's policy, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

Visibility: By default, sites here are internal and require Colby authentication. Public-facing access to the general internet is granted by request only for specific College-wide initiatives, academic research, or faculty-sponsored student projects.

Routine Reviews: Information Technology Services (ITS) reviews site activity regularly. In cases of prolonged inactivity, primary owners are notified. Unresolved notices exceeding 90 days will result in site archival. Archived sites are retained for up to one year prior to possible deletion.
Manage Your Sites:

Manage Your Existing Site: Log in and click Dashboard in the top toolbar to manage your current content.

Request a New Site: If you need to request a new site, please click the Request Service button on the right-hand widget.

Review or Modify an Existing Site: If you need to change your current site’s visibility, transfer ownership, request to archive/delete it, or restore an archived/deleted site, please fill out the Site Status Review Request Form.
