Installing & Launching Kaltura Capture

Downloading Kaltura Capture

1. Go to the Colby Video Portal. 
2. Log into your Colby Account.
   • Click Guest > Log In.
     
   • If need be, Enter your Colby Username and Password in Okta.
3. Now, Click Add New > Kaltura Capture.
   
4. Click the appropriate Download for your computer:
   
5. Continue the Install for Mac or Windows

Installing on Mac

1. Click Download for Mac.
2. Click to download the .dmg file.
3. Double click to open the file.
   • This will open this window:
     
4. Drag the Kaltura Capture Icon into your Applications folder.

Installing on Windows

1. Click Download for Windows.
2. Double click on the KalturaCapture_4.x.x.msi file opening the Setup Screen
3. Click Next on the Welcome Screen
   
4. Click Next on the Installation Setup Screen
   
   • (Optional) You can change the destination of your recordings at this step
5. Click Install on the Ready to Install screen
   
6. Click Finish to complete the Install
   

Launching Kaltura Capture

To Launch Kaltura Capture,

1. Go to the Colby Video Portal. 
2. Log into your Colby Account.
3. Now, Click Add New > Kaltura Capture.
   
4. Now a prompt should appear asking to open Kaltura Capture
   
5. Click Open KalturaCapture
6. The Kaltura Capture app should open and you can begin Recording
