Microsoft Windows Steps

1. In your web browser, navigate to vpn.colby.edu. You may be presented with an Okta login window, if so authenticate.
2. You will see the homepage for Colby’s VPN. Click on the link labeled Pulse Secure VPN Client Installers.
3. Enter your Username and Password, for the Domain enter COLBY
4. Select the Windows folder.
5. Click the link for the installer file.

In order to use Pulse Secure, you and your computer must meet the following requirements:

• You must have administrator credentials.
• You will not be able to use ivanti Secure while using a public computer.
• You should have a stable high speed connection.
• You may need 5-20 minutes depending on your connection and hardware.

1. Click the Start button in the Client Application Sessions Box. You should expect a Pulse Secure Setup window.  Select Next.
   
2. You will be presented with a window. If the window asks you to allow the following program to install software on the computer, click Install.
   
3. After selecting Install, let the process finish and you may be presented with another security window asking for your credentials. If so, enter your normal Colby username and password. Pulse Secure will begin installing and the following window will be displayed.
   
4. Once the installation is complete, expect a window informing you that the Pulse Secure Setup Wizard is complete. Click Finish.

You are now going to add a connection profile to the new VPN server

1. In the Pulse Secure client window, click on the plus sign + in the top right corner.
2. Enter vpn.colby.edu in Server URL: field, the name can be anything to makes sense to you. The recommendation would be Colby VPN or using the same name as the server URL, then click Add.
   
3. You may now connect when and if needed.
   
   
   

You will now be able to access Colby resources securely whether you are on or off campus. When you are done with ivanti Secure please click on the disconnect button and close the window.

Apple macOS Steps

1. In your web browser, navigate to vpn.colby.edu. You may be presented with an Okta login window, if so authenticate.
2. You will see the homepage for Colby’s VPN. Click on the link labeled Pulse Secure VPN Client Installers.
3. Enter your Username and Password, for the Domain enter COLBY
4. Select the Mac OS folder.
5. Click the link for the installer file.
6. Click on the installer file and Save File if prompted.
   
7. Open the Downloads folder, and double-click on downloaded installer file
8. In the Welcome screen, click Continue.
   
9. At the Standard Install Screen, click Install, enter your password, and click Install Software.
   
10. Click Close when installation is complete.
11. Go to your Applications folder, and open the  Pulse application.

You are now going to add a connection profile to the new VPN server

1. In the Pulse Secure client window, click on the plus sign + in the top right corner

Google Android Steps

1. Open Google play store and Search ivanti secure.
2. Tap Install.
3. Once installed, tap Open
4. When prompted to allow notifications tap Allow
5. In the Corporate email or URL field enter vpn.colby.edu
6. Tap Connect
7. If desired, you can enter a friendly Connection Name like "Colby VPN"
   
8. Tap Connect
9. If prompted for an Okta login, please do so (including multi-factor authentication)
10. For the Connection Request prompt, tap OK
11. You are now connected
12. When you have finished using the VPN, tap on the connection name and then tap Disconnect.

Apple iOS Steps

1. Open the App store and search ivanti secure.
2. In most cases it will have the option to GET the app, unless like the case below where the user had it prior and is downloading it again, it will show a cloud.
3. Once installed open Secure Access
4. Tap Add a new Connection
5. Leave all fields as their default, and in the URL field enter vpn.colby.edu
   
6. Tap Connect
7. If prompted to Add VPN Configurations tap Allow
8. If prompted for an Okta login, please do so (including multi-factor authentication)
9. You are now connected
10. When you have finished using the VPN, tap on the connection name and then tap Disconnect.
