ITS has deployed an anti-malware tool named DetectX to some Macintosh computers with older operating systems. This installation is silent and does not require your interaction. Additionally, you do not have to do anything in order for DetectX to scan and protect your computer. However, you may notice a few changes once the software is installed.
You may see the following icon in your Dock from time to time, it is okay to ignore it.
Clicking the Dock icon will present you with this window, it is okay to close it.
