Step One: Request Adobe Creative Cloud
To be provisioned a license for Adobe Creative Cloud, for the fastest service, visit the Software Request service and click on Request Software. Otherwise, please contact the ITS Support Center by phone at ext. 4222 or by email at support@colby.edu. Licenses are available to any Colby staff or faculty. Student licenses are not available at this time.
Step Two: Installation and Sign-in
Please note: The following instructions assume you have already requested Adobe Creative Cloud through Colby ITS and have received the Adobe email confirmation.
- Download the Adobe Creative Cloud installer.
- To log in, enter your Colby email address and click Continue.
- Click on Company or School Account.
- Enter your Colby credentials if prompted.
- Download and install the file.
- Double-click the downloaded file to extract its contents. To start the installation, do one of the following:
- Windows: Double-click Creative_Cloud_Set-up.exe from the extracted folder.
- Mac OS: Double-click Creative_Cloud_Installer.dmg and in the new window, double-click on the Creative Cloud Installer icon.
- Follow the prompts in the installer package. If prompted to log in, follow the procedure in Step 1.
This will successfully install the Creative Cloud desktop app on your system allowing you to easily browse, install, launch, and manage any Creative Cloud app or service. Simply click the button labeled “Install” for any of the desired apps that are available to you.
