Colby students can install Microsoft 365 apps on a personal Windows or Mac computer using their Colby account.
- Navigate to Microsoft 365 apps.
- Click Sign in.
- Type username@colby.edu.
- Complete the Colby sign-in process.
- Click Install apps in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Microsoft 365 apps.
- Open the downloaded installer file.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
- Open one of the Microsoft 365 apps, such as Word.
- Sign in with username@colby.edu if prompted.
Troubleshooting
If Install apps is not available after signing in, the student should contact the ITS Support Center for help with their Microsoft 365 license.
