Self Service+ (formally known as Self Service) is an end user application for macOS that allows users to access content that have been pre-configured in Jamf Pro which is the platform used to manage macOS endpoints by Colby ITS. Self Service+ will be automatically rolled out by the end of March into the beginning of April 2026 on all Colby owned computers.
Self Service + provides a streamlined end user experience by consolidating various things including but not limited to applications, configurations, and ITS utilities for troubleshooting purposes into a single app.
If Self Service + is installed on your macOS computer, there will be an icon in the system tray for you to access it (see below image)
Clicking the icon will reveal a drop down allowing you to click Get Software to bring you to the Self Service + app. Here, you can install Colby Software that's been assigned to your computer.
