Q. What is Perusall?
A. Perusall is an online social learning platform for annotating text, video, and audio content, motivating students to ask questions, share insights, and build a learning community.
Set Up Perusall in Moodle
- Enter your Moodle course, enable editing
- Click + Add an activity or resource
- Select Perusall
- Enter Perusall in the Activity name field
- Click Grade and select none
- Click Save and display
- Click open in a new window to launch Perusall
You will be prompted to create your Perusall course. If you are asked to select a tier of pricing, proceed with $0.
After you've set up your Perusall content, when a student clicks on a Perusall link in your Moodle course, a Perusall account will be created, and they will automatically be enrolled in your Perusall course.
