Using SpectrumU

Colby offers cable TV streaming via SpectrumU. While connected to Colby's network (wired or wireless), follow these steps to stream cable TV from a variety of devices.

Web Browser

  1. Open a web browser (Chrome or Firefox are recommended).
  2. Go to the Spectrum TV website.
  3. If prompted, click Continue.

 

Roku Player

  1. Browse to the Roku Channel Store and find the Spectrum TV channel and install it.
  2. Once installed, launch the newly installed channel. It will recognize Colby's network and automatically direct you to SpectrumU.
NOTE: To connect your Roku to the wireless network, you will need to use Clearpass.

 

Mobile Devices

iOS

  1. Launch the App Store and search for SpectrumU
    • Note: This is different from the Spectrum TV application.
  2. Install and launch SpectrumU
  3. If prompted, read the license agreement and accept to continue.

Android

  1. Launch the Play Store and search for SpectrumU
    • Note: This is different from the Spectrum TV application.
  2. Install and launch SpectrumU
  3. If prompted, read the license agreement and accept to continue.
