DJI Osmo Phone Gimbal

This is a simple handheld gimbal to stabilize your phone for recording.

The DJI Osmo Phone Gimbal kit will include:

  • Gimbal

  • USB-C Cable (x2)

  • Camera/Light attachment

Setting up the Camera

Hardware Configuration

  1. Unfold gimbal

  2. Put phone into phone mount (you can detach the phone mount from the gimbal to make this process easier)

  3. Press the M button on the gimbal to turn it on.

  4. Connect phone to gimbal over bluetooth

  5. Press M again to change the gimbal stabilization mode

  6. Change the direction of the gimbal using the joystick.

  7. Press the red dot button to record

  8. Fold back up

  9. Hold M down to turn off.

Settings

The settings listed here are a very limited list of what is available within the camera. For more information, see the Additional References section below. Run test shots with the camera, and if footage doesn't look or feel right, ask us for help.

  • Pull on the top of the gimbal to extend the extension rod

    • Simply push back down to retract it

  • Pull down on the tabs on the bottom to extend the tripod

    • To retract the tripod, flip all three legs to be parallel with the gimbal body and then push all three in together

  • Charge the camera by plugging it in through USB-C using the cables in the kit.

  • Connect the multifunctional module to the phone mount to enable face tracking.

    • Use the dial on the side of the gimbal to change the light level coming from the multifunctional module
