Windows Hello allows you to set up a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to log in to your computer. Windows Hello is required if you want to set up Okta Fastpass

Steps
- Open up Settings from the Start Menu
- On the left-hand side, click Accounts
- Select Sign-in options
- Select PIN (Windows Hello)
- You will be prompted to authenticate your Colby Microsoft account. Use your same Colby credentials if asked to sign in. It will then ask for your Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication. If you do not have a Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication set up, please follow the instructions to enable.
- Create a PIN with at least 6 digits. You can check Include letters and symbols at the bottom if you want to create a more complex PIN. We recommend creating a PIN that is easy to remember.
- Windows Hello credentials will take a few minutes to authenticate and allow you to sign in to the OS. You will be able to use Windows Hello while signed in with applications such as Okta Verify, but you will need to wait 20-30 minutes before being able to sign in to the desktop using this method.
