The Virtual Private Network (VPN) service provides secure access to Colby’s ITS file servers, print servers, software licensing and various web-based services when at home or traveling. ITS strongly recommends you use the VPN connection when connecting to Colby resources over any unsecured (open or public) wireless network.
Colby account holders log in to the VPN portal at vpn.colby.edu. Web-based resources and file servers can be accessed directly through the portal. Click here to find installation instructions.
