Starting client policy retrievals for Colby managed Windows Computers

Manually initiating a policy retrieval ensures a managed computer receives the latest software deployments and configuration settings from organization servers

1. Click the start menu and type "Control Panel".  Once found open it.
2. In the upper right search menu of the Control Panel, search for "Configuration Manager"
3. Open the Configuration Manager application
4. Select the Actions tab
5. Select Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle
6. Click Run Now
7. Click OK to confirm the prompt
8. Repeat the previous steps for other actions, such as the User Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle, if instructed by Colby ITS
