Signing Into the CrashPlan App

This article shows you how to sign into the CrashPlan app

Body

Windows

  1. Click the Start menu and type CrashPlan
  2. Double-click the CrashPlan app from the list
  3. At the sign-in prompt, enter your Colby standard email address (this should NOT be your email alias)

  4. Proceed through Okta prompts

  5. If sign-in was successful, Your default web browser will show a successful sign-in

  6. Launch the CrashPlan app once again.  A similar window will display as CrashPlan synchronizes the computer with the backup server

macOS

  1. In Finder, navigate to the Applications folder
  2. Locate and double-click the CrashPlan.app
  3. At the sign-in prompt, enter your Colby standard email address (this should NOT be your email alias)
