How do I set up my Voicemail?

Colby has created a Zoom Phone Voicemail knowledge base article with a step by step guide for setting up your voicemail.

NOTE: This FAQ used to contain steps for setting up your voicemail. Please use the link above for that how-to guide!

How do I find my Voicemail pin?

Colby has created a Zoom Phone Voicemail knowledge base article with a step by step guide to help you find your pin code.

NOTE: Colby cannot find your voicemail pin code for you. Your pin code is unique and is only available for you to view in your Zoom Phone account. Never share your pin code with anyone.

Do Voicemails still get sent to email?

Voicemails from incoming calls will be forwarded to your Colby.edu email address with an audio file of the voicemail. You will be able to listen to the calls in your voicemail box on any device you have connected to Zoom Phone (i.e Desk Phone, Zoom Workplace, Zoom mobile app).

Why can't I transcribe Voicemails? / "Admin has disabled this transcription"

Colby has disabled voicemail transcription in Zoom Workplace, the Zoom Web Portal, and the Zoom mobile app. We have also disabled voicemail transcription in notification emails from Zoom. This is due to security concerns with personal and sensitive data that can be sent through a voicemail to a Zoom Phone user and be transcribed to text.

I still have questions. Who do I contact?
