What you can do to make your computer or devices more secure from physical exposure

Require a password or biometric authentication to log on to your computer or mobile device
Set a screen saver to require a password. Apply short time windows for locking your computer when inactive.
Log off or lock your computer whenever leaving your workstation
Do not allow anyone else to use your computer unless they use their own account
Do not leave removable media (flash or external drives, SD cards, etc.) inside or connected to your computer if not in use
Secure your workspace by locking doors and windows as appropriate
Turn your computer off at night (so it is not connected to the network).
Does your computer monitor face a window that is easy to view from the public? Consider repositioning from potential onlookers, especially if viewing high risk data
Do not leave notes that contain your account passwords, or password hints, near or on the device.
