Class File Server Folder

Course folders are generated automatically for all courses. This will happen about a month before the semester starts.

Access from a Mac, a Windows PC, or through a web browser.

On a Mac

1. Go to your Finder app
2. Click Go
3. Click Connect to Server
4. Enter smb://filer.colby.edu/courses
5. Click Connect

On a Windows Machine

1. Search for This PC from your Start Menu
2. Choose This PC
3. Select Map network drive in the menu bar
4. Enter \\filer.colby.edu\courses in the Folder field
5. Click Enter or Finish

From a Web Browser

1. Open a web browser
2. Go to https://vpn.colby.edu
3. Select Course File Shares

Note: The form of the folder name is:

BI221_A_FA         (Biology 221, section A, Fall)
BI224_A_JP         (Biology 224, section A, Jan Plan)
BI225L_A_SP       (Biology 225, section A, Spring)
